Synopsis

Patris paints landscapes, both urban and rural. She paints outdoors creating works of vibrant and uplifting scenes of nature and the city of Sacramento. She is best known for her Oak Park series. Works created to draw attention to the positive qualities of the often maligned or forgotten neighborhood in which she resides.

"I paint landscapes that depict nature as a magnificent covering over the earth reflecting the Creator's glory and grandeur. From the country to the city, I regard the world as my studio."
