In their own words

"Painting, for me, is all consuming. It's a never ending learning process. It is the most rewarding and the most frustrating activity I have ever been involved with. I love working out the problems, letting the painting take me where it will. Even the failures help me to learn.

The more I paint, the more the vastness of the art world and its history open up to me. My goal is to keep painting and keep learning.

Over the years I have had the opportunity to work with a large number of talented people in classes or workshops. A few of them are Jim Estey, Jan Miskulin, Betty Carr, Susan Sarback, Gregory Kondos, John Budicin, Kevin McPherson, Gina Leyton and Juan Pena.

I am fortunate to have many artist friends whom I paint with and learn from. This may be the best contributor to my education.

I am currently taking classes from some of the fine instuctors at American River College."
