Synopsis

Dennis' representational landscapes focus on form and light. He chooses scenes mostly from around the Northern California area.

In their own words

"I had never really appreciated oil paint when I was young as it was either too dark, too flat, or too muddy. Now I want to work with and appreciate some of those same aspects. The richness of color. The subtle variations in value and temperature, and the physical qualities of texture. "
